Joe Resko is vice president of manufacturing and purchasing,
responsible for global manufacturing operations within the Building
Products business segment and oversight of companywide procurement,
engineering and quality.
Resko began his career in 1994 when
he spent a year as an operations trainee with Dietrich Metal Framing
before moving to roles across several locations with increasing
responsibilities, including assistant plant manager and plant manager.
Resko continued his tenure with Dietrich after Worthington acquired the
company in 1996. Two years later he became regional operations manager
and in 2000 earned a promotion to vice president of operations where he
assisted with the opening of new facilities across North America. In
2008, Resko moved to the Worthington Global Group leading operations
before transferring to Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE), a joint
venture, in 2010 as vice president of global operations and engineering.
In 2014, he became vice president of operations for Steel Processing
business of Worthington Industries. In 2017, he advanced to be general
manager of the business before accepting a role as vice president of
global operations for the Pressure Cylinders business of Worthington
Industries in 2018. This business is known today as the Building
Products business segment of Worthington Enterprises.
In
addition to his core roles and responsibilities, Resko is a co-executive
sponsor of THRIVE, a mental health and wellness employee resource group
at Worthington, and serves on the board of HeiserTEC, a joint venture.
Resko earned his business administration degree from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
